otro nombre

hay una palabra que te nombra
además de tu nombre
y no acierto a encontrarla
se me escapa con sonrisa pícara
mirando hacia atrás
y la persigo
entre árboles y lunas
entre olas y soles de enero

mirame palabra
decime tu sonido
dejame escucharte
y pronunciar tu existencia

pero no me deja
y en el fondo
es mejor así
seguir buscándola es

mi alegría

  2. Beautiful, and fun to translate. Let me know if I didn't capture it right.

    other name
There is a word that names you
    besides your name
    and not easy to find
it escapes me with a mischievous smile
    looking back
    and I chase
    between trees and moons
between waves and suns of January

    Look at me word
    tell me your sound
    let me hear you
    and pronounce your existence

    but do not let me
    find you
    It's better this way
    continuing to search is

    my joy

  3. Wow, dear Stasa... you blew my mind!
the translation is nearly perfect!! I will correct a couple of things, but only because I KNOW that you, as a writer, will appreciate that I do that. Do you? (But of course, I can make my own mistakes, haha!)

And the fact that you took the time to read it and go through it thoroughly and translated it makes me beyond happy.
